If someone can have an unofficial web site, then this is mine. This blog is a digital repository of my thoughts on a variety of issues; observations on events of the day; rants against those things that bother me, like right wing politicians; and commentary on the wonderful assortment of people and places that I come across as I travel.

There is no consistent theme to this blog. My interests are too varied and my attention span too short for that. I will try to include as many interactive features on this site as my limited technical ability will allow. While I suspect most of the content of this site will be my own, if any of the few readers of this blog would like to contribute content, it would be most welcome.

I would also like to apologize in advance to the few readers of this blog for all the typos and other unintended offenses against the English language within it. I am a notoriously proofreader.
